Rob Bennett, CEO-in-Residence
Rob has an extensive knowledge of creating and growing technology firms within BC, gained from over 30 years of experience working in and with a variety of companies. Rob has direct experience in all aspects of company growth including venture financing and becoming publicly listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. In addition to acting as the Business Coach for Victoria Advanced Technology Council (VIATeC), Rob also co-chairs the VIATeC Grow Op panel, providing coaching and assistance to a wide variety of technology companies on a broad range of topics and opportunities.

Howard Donaldson, CEO-in-Residence
Howard has served as Vice President, Studio Operations for Disney Interactive Studios, and the interactive business unit of The Walt Disney Company. Prior to this role, Howard co-founded Propoganda Games and helpd build this studio into a prominent AAA game development studio. Howard also earlier served as the CFO of EA Canada. As an active member of the executive team, he was responsible for managing EA Canada's annual financial performance and directing long-term business planning that led to EA Canada's double-digit annual growth. He has over 10 years of experience in the video game industry and over 20 years of corporate leadership experience.

Adam Lorant, CEO-in-Residence
Adam is a Partner with Magellan Angel Partners where he invests in and mentors high tech startups. He has been the co-founder and VP Marketing/Product Management for several successful startups including PolarBlue Systems Inc, OctigaBay Systems Corporation (acquired by Cray Inc in 2004) and Abatis Systems, which was sold to Redback Networks in 2000 as one of the largest private acquisitions in Canadian history. Throughout his entrepreneurial career, Adam has helped generate over one billion dollars for investors. Adam holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business and a B.Sc. in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto. In 2000, Adam was honored with Canada's "Top 40 Under 40" award.

Neil McDonnell, CEO-in-Residence
Neil brings 25 years of experience with BC high tech companies including hardware, software and system applications. He is currently President and CEO of Wurldtech Securities Technologies and Executive Chair of TeraSpan Networks. Previously, Neil held senior executive roles at TeraSpan Networks, TIR Systems/The Royal Philips Company (SSL), and Mobile Data Solutions International (MDSI). An experienced mentor and advisor, Neil has served on several private and public boards including the BCLC where he currently sits as Chair of the Human Resources and Compensation Committee. Neil holds an MBA from UBC and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto.

Peter Payne, Director, Business Intelligence
Peter has established and run a variety of companies since 1978 from the early days of electronic publishing, to medical devices successfully marketed in Canada, the USA, Europe and Asia. He has been involved with government organizations, private and public companies, reverse take-overs, venture capital corporations and not-for-profit groups. Peter holds a Ph.D. (Pathology) from the University of British Columbia and is active with the UBC Alumni Association and the Faculty of Medicine’s Problem Based Learning program. He has been an invited speaker at international conferences, holds a number of patents and has received several awards for his work.

Eamonn Percy, CEO-in-Residence
Eamonn is an experienced business leader, with a track record of success in creating shareholder value by helping companies achieve superior performance in global markets. He has held a variety of senior leadership roles with companies in the cleantech, energy, engineering and automotive sectors, including Powertech Labs, Ballard Power Systems, Pirelli Cable & Systems, and Ford Electronics. He has significant board experience in corporate, academic, and regulatory sectors; is active in supporting the local community; and has been honored with awards such as the BCIT Distinguished Alumni Award and Canada's Top 40 Under 40 Award. Eamonn has a B. Eng (Electrical) from Lakehead University, MBA (Finance) from University of Toronto, and has completed Executive Education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Sandra Wear, CEO-in-Residence
Sandra has an impressive 15-year track record of maximizing shareholder value through growth, performance and product commercialization in new and existing markets. Her entrepreneurial background includes starting and building a company to its $568M record-making exit as well as taking disruptive technology from product concept to commercialization and closing multi-million dollar transactions. Her technology background spans wireless, video technology, SaaS and enterprise software. Most recently she led a cleantech company developing ZigBee-based Smart Grid Applications. Sandra has held executive positions as CEO, VP and General Manager in North America and Europe and has led marketing and business development efforts on a global scale. She is currently a Director of Hummingbird Hydrogen - a waste biomass conversion company - and serves on the Board of several non-profit organizations. Sandra holds a B.Sc. in Biology/Genetics from UBC and is a Marketing Management graduate from BCIT.
