Six:Forty

Tickets Now on Sale!

What does it take to be an entrepreneur? How do ordinary people start from nothing to create extraordinary companies? What advice would they share about their journey and lessons learned?

Those questions and more will be answered during six:forty, coming up on November 25, 2014. Six:forty is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to share their story -- how they got to where they are, and what they learned along the way. It’s not about product pitches or demos, it’s about the PEOPLE behind the companies building leading edge technology, right here in our own backyard.

John Bromley

John Bromley

John’s always been around charity in one way or another all of his life; his dad, Blake Bromley, is one of the world’s leading charity lawyers. So after university at McGill and four years in corporate finance, John joined Blake and started learning about the mechanics of charity. Together, they started Benefic Group to specialize in charity related law, finance, strategy and policy. After logging more than his "10,000 hours", John started applying his expertise and opinions on how to best facilitate charity to the Internet's propensity to change human behaviour and disrupt marketplaces. John now spends his time shaping the way people interact with, transact with, and discover charity in a web based fact pattern. He is the founder and CEO of Chimp.net.
