COUNT ME IN! The 2008 BC Technology Industry Study is a province-wide study of BC’s technology companies of all sizes and sectors. The study is being led by the BC Technology Industry Association in partnership with the BC Innovation Council. The study will help BCTIA and BCIC better understand and respond to the market expansion strategies of BC’s technology companies. Why it is important for tech companies to participate in the study? To date, a lot of organizations have delivered growth programs and outbound business development missions through a shotgun ‘spray and pray’ strategy. By having accurate and current information directly from tech companies of all sectors, the BCTIA and BC Innovation Council hope to be able to deliver more strategic corporate growth programs and more targeted industry development campaigns. How will my company directly benefit? By participating in the study, companies will receive a direct invitation to participate in programs and activities that are targeted to their markets. What is my obligation if I do complete the study? Companies participating in the study are under no obligation to partake in future activities. Yes, the deadline for completion of the 2008 study is October 17th. Cindy Pearson |
