Northern BC Business Advantage Program

Northern Development has introduced a new business incentive program, the Northern BC Business Advantage, focused on direct job creation targeted at wealth creating, export-driven sectors of the economy to support expansion of businesses in the region and attraction of businesses from outside central and northern BC to locate within our communities.

The new Capital Investment and Training Rebate provides eligible manufacturing, logistics, and transportation related businesses with up to $10,000 per new job based on direct capital investment and training expenditures related to the expansion or location of a business in one of central and northern BC’s 40 communities.
