The target market for Brazilian Pulp and Paper Industry has grown from 1970 to 2008 an average of 7.6% pulp and 5.7% paper. This rate of growth is due to the high productivity of Eucalyptus tree and the short fibre pulp process. While Brazil is today the 4th pulp producer in the world; it is expected to become the 3rd pulp producer in the world by 2015 when all greenfield mills start producing.
