In Motion's onBoard Mobile Gateway turns an ambulance, police car, or fire truck into a secure LAN with access to the best available wireless network (cellular, Wi-Fi, private IP, or satellite). This technology enables public safety workers to access the right information when and where they need it, and to collaborate with resources in other locations while in motion.
The onBoard Mobility Manager monitors the location and health of the vehicles and each mobile network, helping public safety organizations improve services to the public, including response times. Together, these products deliver a vehicle area network using the best available wireless connection.
