Jonathan Rhone

President and CEO, Nexterra Energy Corp.

Jonathan Rhone is founding President and CEO of Nexterra Energy Corp.,
a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced gasification systems and energy solutions for industrial and institutional customers.

Jonathan began his career with Dome Petroleum and later Amoco Canada Petroleum Company developing multi-party exploration agreements. In 1992, he worked for Geneva-based Centre for Our Common Future and the UNDP on the management team of the International Global Forum, the NGO component of the United Nations Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

From 1992 to 1998, he was Vice President of The Delphi Group, a management consulting firm, where he provided energy and environmental advisory services to government, international agencies and major corporations. During this time, he managed Delphi's partnership with the GLOBE Foundation of Canada as GLOBE's VP Business Programs where he established the EXCEL Partnership on corporate environmental leadership.

More recently, he was Chief Operating Officer with DynaMotive Technologies, a publicly traded energy technology company. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Vancity Capital Corporation an investment management firm that provides growth capital to fast-growing, small- to medium-sized organizations based in BC.
