BioteQ Environmental Technologies Inc.
BioteQ provides water treatment on a build, own and operate basis with concurrent recovery of saleable co-products from metal contaminated water. The underlying technologies are the BioSulphide Process and ChemSulphide Process. BioteQ has partnered with some of the worlds largest mining companies, including Phelps Dodge, Xstrata, Codelco, Inco, Jiangxi Copper and Aditya Birla as well as utilities operator EPCOR and the US EPA for water treatment services. BioteQ currently has 4 commercial operations and 5 new plants under construction. BioteQ receives revenues from metal sales, operating fees, and technology fees.
